David grew up in Centralia, Washington, 80 miles south of Seattle and had a wonderful church home there. It was during those years through a strong youth group program that he realized the importance of a Christian community.

He graduated from MSSU in 1989 with a degree in Accounting and General Business. David met his wife Laura while attending Ozark Christian College where I received my Bachelors in Christian Education in 1989. They have four wonderful children, Brandon, Michael, Rachel and Joshua. David went on to complete my MBA in Accounting in 2005 and my Master of Arts in Communication in 2013.

Dillon is a professional musician and a student at Pittsburg State University. When he’s not performing, he loves playing basketball, golf, and disc golf. Being part of Koinonia is also a big part of his life, as it gives him a strong sense of community and connection.
